Who Am I?
I am an undergraduate student in the College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences at Southeastern Louisiana University studying to get my bachelors in Television and Multimedia Journalism. My time in this program has been centered around production, on-camera talent, journalism, and writing for the public. I enjoy the multitude of creation skills I get to practice, and intend to professionalize my writing. The communication department has an excellent student-run channel, and I have gained a lot of experience participating in productions for my courses that help me become studio ready.
My Story
Throughout my time at university, I helped form a new student organization for young adults looking for a Christian community. In addition to being the president of the group, I also produce social media posts that promote events and capture the attention of those interested in joining. The communication skills I learn in my studies are put to practice for the organization, and I am sure the experience will follow me to future career opportunities.
